The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel hosts a Blood Donation Camp paying homage to The Leela Group Founder Chairman

 

Landmark destination for business and leisure travellers in Delhi, The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, hosted a blood donation camp in memory of the late Founder Chairman Captain CP Krishnan Nair of The Leela Group. The objective was to pay tribute to their late Founder Chairman who was an avid advocate and ardent supporter of contributing to the welfare of the society. The camp was organised in partnership with The Lions Blood Bank, Shalimar Bagh.

 

Speaking on the importance of the organisation of the blood donation camp Mr. Jaideep Anand, General Manager of The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel said, “This is the third death anniversary of our Founder Chairman Captain CP Krishnan Nair, and he would have been 95-years-old today. To celebrate this momentous milestone, 95 employees from each of The Leela hotels have donated blood that will contribute towards saving lives. We hope to follow the principles of our founder and are confident that this feeling of gratitude will stay with us and guide us to always do and aim for the better.”

The three-day Ambience Spring Carnival drew to a close yesterday evening amidst much fanfare at the Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj. The carnival was hosted by Ambience that showcased the best in entertainment, music and live performances. Spring carnival drew one of the largest crowds the events ever saw on weekends and ended on a very successful note.

The spring carnival offered a vast array of delights ranging from street food to refreshing shakes and ice creams. Shopping was one of the major highlight at spring carnival and drew maximum crowd at the event. With a wide range of fashionable products on sale at the ‘Fashion flea’, the carnival was a delight for the fashion conscious shopaholics, be it be Indian wear or western wear. The live music drew enthusiastic participation from the visitors. The various entertainment programs at the carnival managed to set a lively tune and added glitz to the carnival.

The three day carnival saw musical performances from various artistes and bands like Sanjeeta Bhattacharya & Rafiq Khan Langa, Sivana-The Band & Zoroon – Bollywood/Sufi Rock Band and PAN!C & Zaeden – DJ/music producer. The eclectic mix of performers and Genre’s set the crowd swaying to their beats. The ‘Food Flea’ saw exhibition from Food Trucks, Pop Stick Pop, Row, Food stalls, Burger king, Kolkata Biryani House, Pie Italian Pizzas n ice creams, Cafe Habit, Frozen ice cream rolls, The Waffle Studio and Lucky’s.

The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel hosts a special movie screening for the children of Noida Deaf Society

The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, a landmark destination for both business and leisure travellers in the city, organised a special screening of the movie ‘Chota Bheem’ for the students of the Noida Deaf Society.

The objective of the initiative was to celebrate Valentine’s Day with the children of the school and make it special for them. However, due to an annual celebration at the school the activity had to be postponed. 35 children from the Noida Deaf Society visited The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, bringing with them the joy and excitement of watching their favourite cartoon character on the big screen along with popcorns and appetizing refreshments.

Seeing the eager and enthusiastic faces of these children Mr. Jaideep Anand, General Manager of The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel said, “We are very happy to be hosting these beautiful children at The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel today. Gurgaon is going to get more than its share of fun this summer! Fun City, the global leisure and entertainment division of the iconic Landmark Group, has revamped and officially relaunched its Ambience Mall, Gurgaon entertainment centre.

At a glittering launch event, which was attended by a host of prominent personalities, latest Bollywood child acting sensation, Harshaali Malhotra, of BajrangiBhaijaan fame, inaugurated the new look Fun City, along with children from a local NGO. Harshaali is a sensationally talented child actor who has taken the popularity charts by storm with her wonderful performance in BajrangiBhiajaan, a film that is among this year’s biggest hits.

Fun City at Ambience Mall in Gurgaon, now a humongous 15000 sq. feet play destination for families has been a huge hit ever since it launched. With the recent makeover, Fun City is the only family entertainment brand in India to have introduced the country’s largest soft play area called Play Zone. Designed for children ages 3 to 10, Play Zone offers kids the space to slide, run, climb, jump and develop their physical, social, mental and emotional skills.
