Worldmark Aerocity plans exciting Diwali Exhibition on 27 & 28 October

Delhi’s latest leisure and commercial destination Worldmark Aerocity today announced the National Capital Region’s (NCR) most exciting two-day exhibition starting 27 October to celebrate the festival of lights – Diwali. The exhibition will see numerous exhibitors offering brass and gold-plated jewellery, designer clothes, home & décor items, quirky articles, wood and paper maché products, leather articles and other handicrafts under one roof: Food Capital at Worldmark1.

Sharing his excitement, Mr. S.K. Sayal, CEO & MD, Bharti Realty Limited, said: “As Diwali denotes celebrations and shopping, Worldmark is poised to spread the festive cheer to its patrons via a two-day Diwali carnival beginning 27 October. 15th October has always been a blessed day, what with it being the birth anniversary of the learned scientist and Former President, of India, late Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.

The Maharashtra Government has now declared it as “Maharashtra Reading Day”.

Confirming the same, Vinod Tawde, Honourable Minister of Education, State of Maharashtra says, “We are delighted to announce 15th October as Maharashtra Reading Day. Here at Crossword bookstores I would like to request you to give me ‘books’ instead of ‘bouquets’ to welcome me. Maharashtra Government is celebrating Shri. APJ Abdul Kalam’s birthday as ‘reading day’. That’s because his writing had ‘vision.’ He mentioned in so many instances that India is going to be a superpower. He  visualized this and wrote in his books. His writings have inspired not one school or class, but an entire generation.”

Interestingly, 15th October, is also the founding day of  Crossword Bookstores. The year 2016 marks 24 years of Crossword Bookstores’ endeavor to spread knowledge and inculcate the habit of reading.

Oceedee created a variation of leather shoes which included checkered designs, 3D embroideries, and rainforest themed embroidery. The naïve child like perspective of Henri Rousseau’s art form the inspiration for the embroideries on the shoes while the checkered designs give a contrast to the clothes. In Henri’s art, we see a flower petal metamorphoses into a swan; the leaves into a zebra; flock of birds emerge from the leaves reflecting magical mirroresque impressions. Traditional artisans bring to life 3D embroidery techniques on natural textiles like cotton voile and organdy inspired by Rousseau’s artworks which are then transferred on to the leather shoes.

JP Infra’s master-planned neighborhood- North, set to elevate Mira Road

JP Infra Mumbai Pvt Ltd, one of the leading Real Estate Major, today announced the Masterplanned Neighbourhood- ‘North’ would be undoubtedly the new residential destination at Mira Road with the world class amenities. While addressing the Press Conference, Mr. Manoj Asrani, VP Sales and Marketing described the project as, “The Project aims to define the concept of living space by offering much more than a home. North would be a community where you and your family can stroll to work, your children can walk or cycle to school and a local convenience to stores, temple, sportsground, lifestyle club and beautiful parks.”

This is one of its kind masterplanned neighbourhood in the entire Mumbai’s western built to Mira Road. North will offer an exceptional quality of living to the people residing. The residents will be able to save money and energy with solar powered heating, water harvesting, underground water tanks and waste management- all combined with careful resource management.  North will offer a variety of residences ranging from 1-BHK and 2-BHK luxury apartments. In addition, it will have cycling and jogging track, and water bodies.

Talking about the design and architecture, Richard Soon, Architect and Director, P & T, says, “The master plan is located on a large site of 600m length. The site is surrounded by large pockets of rich forested area. This inspired the organic design of the master plan which resembles the form of vine, bringing the idea of connectivity through the site. The result is a seamless amalgamation of soft and hardscape that is environmentally sensitive and responsive, allowing the inward flow of nature into design.”

Mr. Shubham Jain, Director JP Infra concluded, “Our aim is to create spaces where people can truly live. With North, we are actually defining the way life needs to be lived. As a principal, we try to surpass our customer’s expectations in terms of delivering much more than a home to them. With JP North, We had promised to deliver a planned community at Mira Road. When the project was launched, there were no factual announcement, however, now things are in place and planned, JP Infra is refuting their promises and upgrading their deliverables. Talking about his latest novel ‘One Indian Girl’, Chetan Bhagat said “This book is all about understanding women.
